INDIA NEEDS A REVOLUTION...

"Last night a friend from Baroda called. Weeping. It took her fifteen minutes to tell me what the matter was. It wasn't very complicated. Only that Sayeeda, a friend of hers, had been caught by a mob. Only that her stomach had been ripped open and stuffed with burning rags. Only that after she died, someone carved 'OM' on her forehead.
Precisely which Hindu scripture preaches this?
Our Prime Minister justified this as part of the retaliation by outraged Hindus against Muslim 'terrorists' who burned alive 58 Hindu passengers on the Sabarmati Express in Godhra. Each of those who died that hideous death was someone's brother, someone's mother, someone's child. Of course they were.
Which particular verse in the Quran required that they be roasted alive? "...

...When will people understand that just because we belong to different religion does not mean that we are any different from each other. Why doesn't one keep in mind that we are first humans, then Indians, then belonging to a certain religion. Is roasting people to death, stripping women, gang rape,or any other form of HELLISH ACT the only aim of man! Is communalism on religious lines the only reason why we chose to elect leaders? Why are we acting as the puppets of the politicians slaughtering our own kind? What happened to the slogan 'HUM SAB EK HAI' or aur very policy of 'UNITY IN DIVERSITY'? And if these selfish good-for-nothing politicians are not entertained by these mass killings they go for more....

...And this is where our politicians are taking us today. This is where we are heading-without an aim, blindly following what we don't believe in,fighting just because it's in 'vogue'...Is this where we want to head...Is this what we want to achieve...Is this what we want INDIA to be?

The recent terror attacks on The Taj , Mumbai shows the degree of security and safety that the citizens of India provided with. And the people who sacrifice their life for us are treated like a 'piece of dirt'.The policemen are sent to the battle field without any protection at all, and they are sent to fight people or 'terrorists' ,as we otherwise call them, who are much more efficently equiped and protected. Is this how our HEROS are to be treated?!? If the policemen ask for improved arms and equipment the cost of the same is cut from the salary of these men! Already they bearly get a salary and on it no assurity and safety to life and a cut from their pay, only because the main heads, eat digest and throw it out, many of the Heros end up taking bribes. When will the very "LOSER GOVERNMENT" realise that Democracy is not about coming to power and rotting to the deepest but sharing a single dream of holding 'INDIA' together. what happened to leaders like M.K.Gandhi or Lal Bahadur Shashtri Bismillah Khan who loved and lived only for the Nation. Since when has the POWER OF MONEY over-powered the POWER OF LOVE?
It's high time we rise and fight against politicians like Mr.R.R.Pattil who think that the death of 200 odd men is an ordinary event and a major terrorist attack is juat any other small incident that happens in the lives of any TOM,DICK OR HARRY! I Bleed from within with every word I write but sadly the phase that India is witnessing today is the worst ever!
I know it's very easy to point out mistakes (mistakes is an understatement) of others but to make a difference is very difficult. But now, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I have, to this very sec, sworn to make a difference and those who feel even word of what I expressed makes sense then join me.

...what about the victims?

"For when she heard the explosion,
Her eyes grew wet and wild.
She raced through the streets of birmingham
Calling for her child.
She clawed through bits of glass and brick,
Then lifted out a shoe.
"O, here's the shoe my baby wore,
But, baby, where are you?""
This is the fate of nearly every other individual today. With increasing 'anti-human activities',even the safest place in the world is now unsafe. Such is the story of the 'Ballad of Birmingham' by 'Dudley Randall'. Nobody in their wildest of dreams would have imagined that a place so pure as a church,Gods own residence, would be bombed. On September 15,1963, a bomb exploded in a Baptist Church in Birmingham. Randall has very perfectly potrayed how the changin world has changed the life of every individual.
The present day situation is no less than what it was then. Terrorism indeed has changed the life of man. With increasing number of bomb blasts and various other activities, the main attempt of man today is survival.
With hatred in every heart and revenge in every mind, the world of love is turning into the world of stone...Everyone wants their way out, their owm wish forced, but in this process everyone completely forgets to ask one question.....what about the victims?????
